Tues., 9/26, 2 PM:  MANHATTAN CHAMBER PLAYERS – Back by popular demand, Manhattan Chamber Players is a collective of top Prize Winners composed of an impressive roster of musicians who all come from the tradition of great music making.  Works by Strauss, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky.

Tues., Oct.31, 2 PM:  HENRY KRAMER, PIANO – The winner of the 2015 Recital Debut Award from The Julliard School, Henry has performed with many international orchestras.  Works by Scarlatti, Albaniz and Ravel.

Tues., Nov.28, 2 PM:  STEPHEN WAARTS, VIOLIN – Stephen has been praised for playing with technical command and a totally natural sense of musical drama.  He has already garnered worldwide recognition.

Tues., Jan.16, 2 PM:  VERONA QUARTET – Recognized as thoughtful, impressive musicians, the ensemble has earned a stellar reputation for delivering a sensational powerhouse performance.  Works by Hayden, Ravel and more.

Tues., Feb. 8, 2 PM:  XUESHA HU, PIANO – This first place prize-winner has performed throughout the United States, China, Austria and Brazil.  Works by Barber, Ravel and Mendelssohn.

Tues., Apr 17, 2 PM:  MUSICIANS FROM RAVINIA – The ensemble performs with Miriam Fried, long recognized as one of the world’s most preeminent violinists and heralded for her fiery intensity and emotional depth. 

Tues., May 8, 2 PM:  NIKKI CHOOI, VIOLIN – This Canadian Violinist has been described as richly expressive and technically assured.  He currently serves as Concertmaster of the NY Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.  Works by Beethoven, Chausson, Tower and Franck
