Kitty DiFalco
Kitty has been a volunteer with the NYC Aging’s "Friendly Visitor" program at CBN since 2019 and is so excited to represent CBN for the second year in a row at the 2026 United Airlines Half Marathon!
"I’m running the streets of NYC to generate support for the city’s finest residents! Activities at the Carter Burden Network of community centers vary - ranging from Senior Prom, the CBN artist gallery in Chelsea, Friendly Visitors Program, and more. In each of these ways, CBN seeks to engage and enrich the lives of aging New Yorkers, a mission I wholeheartedly support!"
Kristin Slater
Kristin is passionate about CBN's mission to provide programs that allow older adults to stay independent and age safely in place.
"My grandfather, who lived to just a few months shy of 95, was a regular participant in programs like those offered by CBN. Supporting CBN allows me to give back to the organization that provides so much to older adults in New York City, helping them stay active, connected, and engaged in their communities. I want to help ensure that other seniors have the same opportunities my grandfather had to find companionship, purpose, and joy in their daily lives"
Amrei Gold
Amrei believes in CBN's steadfast support of our vulnerable older adult population. She has experience caring for elderly family members and appreciates CBN's compassion towards NYC older adults.

Amanda is not only a seasoned half marathon runner but is deeply connected to CBN as a volunteer. She is passionate about our mission to support NYC older adults and is so excited to represent our organization as one of our runners for the second year in a row!

Lauren has been a champion of NYC older adults for 25 years. She ran the NYC Marathon in 1997 and is excited to return to running and fundraise on behalf of CBN's older adults!
